The geographic characteristics, experienced human resource and adaptability in industrial activities, together with the quality of life that San Luis Potosi offers, have allowed constant growth in the industry and productive sectors making our economy more competitive everyday towards the process of commercial globalization.

Since 1965, San Luis Potosi designated a special area of the city for establishing industrial companies, this area was named Zona Industrial de San Luis. Due to its high demand in the 80’s it was expanded to Zona Industrial del Potosi. Integrated nowadays by over 300 companies, more than 50% of these companies have direct foreign investment from The United States, Italy, Germany, Spain, England, Canada, France, Argentina, India, Korea, Saudi Arabia among others.
